About Hot Air Balloon Flight in Cappadocia

 

Pick up time is one hour prior to sunrise.  Around 4:00 AM in the summer time, 6:00 AM in the winter time.  It may vary day by day.

Breakfast is served at the Cappadocia Balloon Company.  Toast and cookies, coffee and tea are available.  You are supposed to check and contract the condition of insurance prior to boarding.  Move to the take-off spot.   Your pilot is filling the balloon with a big flame, which makes a huge sound. Terrific scenery.  Blowing balloon with flame in the dark just before dawn is a fantastic moment to see.  Wicker basket is about 1m high. I recommend ladies to wear pants for easier boarding.  Your pilot will announce safety instructions. Everybody on board, ready for take-off?   Other balloons are also starting to float like a bubble!  The higher you get in the air, the smaller the creatures on the ground appear.  Straight in the air, a magnificent sunrise is waiting for you.  Flight time is usually one hour. Near the end of your Cappadocia Balloon flight, the pilot starts looking for a safe landing spot.  Ground level is approaching!  Deflating the balloon after landing!  Your pilot is raising the champagne glass high in the sky. “Serefe” (“Cheers” in Turkish)  A flight certificate will be issued by your pilot. This will remind you of your good memory in Cappadocia!  You will be sent off to your hotel.
